I don’t see the big deal… a lot of Americans go nuts at even the thought of eating anything but the “normal” stuff.
Honestly, it looks good, and when prepared correctly, I’m sure it’s very tasty. Not to mention, sometimes you have to make due with what you have.
…other times, it just turns into a regular dish, rats are a perfect example: cheap to feed and multiply quickly. Same thing goes for guinea pigs.
Meat is meat, especially mammal

HAhahaha well compare it to what we ‘normally’ eat. If you go see a cow get slaughtered then shoved into a meat grinder. Then add a bunch of mysterious steps in between before it becomes your favorite macdonalds patty.
At least this thing you KNOW what your eating.

Is there anythings in the world that GOD had created the edible for humans that we cannot eat?
We belief, there is alots of food that had been created for us & they are all good & healthy food. We are given knowledge as to know the good & the bad, but still people are choosing the bad.
Those creatures, they feed on bad food & that becoming their that it’s being eaten. Some contagious diseases could come from them as normal cooking of 100degC, mightn’t killed the bacterias & viruses.
Taking care of health is important, once contacted, life could be miserables as vaccines to cure isn’t the answer.
Be sure that they can be eaten.
Yes, rodents in nature eat whatever they can get. And, rodents spread the plague around Europe.
However, in a environment like where people are raising the rodents, the diets can be controller.
Although, personally I plan on sticking to the “normal” American consumed animals.

Well w/e, I’d still eat it.
It’s not like cows are kept too clean, standing all day in their own shit.

I would eat it, if I did not have to catch and kill them.

Well it is OK t eat this but beware it must be well prepared! I mean more than chicken and cow rats are known to be hosts to various killer diseases including plague. This is mainly because of their sewer expeditions. Hence such meat must be well-cooked at high temperatures (to kill all microbes) and than eaten.

Not bad, do you raise them or do you just go out and kill them in the sewer
Also thy them in s stew, brown your onions first then season the rats and put them in the pot, cook on high to brown the meat and add just enough water to keep you onions from burning, dam that’s good,
Raise them like rabbets and they will taste very good.

I’d rather eat meat than a McDonalds burger any day.

I must say, that I would rather not eat rats.
That’s a given.
However, that doesn’t look too bad.
I’m sure it would be fine if I had to make due,
but how on EARTH could anyone mistake this for chicken??? It doesn’t look like chicken.
If you disagree, you’ve been eating rats.
