i expect results would vary depending on the type and possibly the ripeness of the apple. looks like he was using a macintosh or a gala here…would it work on a delicious or a granny smith? dunno…

I used a PInk Lady apple. Worked out great! And I’m a girl, my mom couldn’t believe I actually split it! It wasn’t perfect, but it split down the middle

oh, i have a different technique kinda. one hand is in th eposition you have there, and the other one is using the thumb and pulling out, but sitll works
