The guys down at Fusion io developed the ioDrive, a storage device that has excellent writing/reading speeds and here are the numbers to prove this
* 800Mb/sec for reading
* 600Mb/sec for writing

However this little device doesn’t come cheap and to get one of these babies for your home computer you will have to pay $19,000 for 640GB, or $2,400 for 8GB. The 160GB and 320GB versions will be released next year.
