I attempted adding a dictionary file (*.dic) to Word 2007 by saving it as a type: Text Documents, also selecting Encoding: Unicode. However, when I selected the file, I was prompted that the file must be type: .dic Any thoughts of what I need to do differently?

I downloaded Babylon dictionary and i want to add it as a dictionary in Word 2007. I followed all the steps but can’t seem to find a EXE. file to open and save as a dictionary in word.

the dictionaries used in Word2003 MUST be converted to unicode to work within Word2007. To do this, open the dictionary file (*.DIC) in Notepad. Save as type: Text Documents, BUT select Encoding: Unicode. Now try to select it in Word2007 and it should work.

i am using MS 2007, i wanna to add drug dictionary, but i got a problem. when i tried to do this, i got a message “save the file in unicode and add it again” I added drug dictionary many times in ms word 97, but in ms 2007, i am facing this problem, pls tell me the solution to add it.

when i do this, it says “save the file in Unicode and add it again.” i did this but still it was rejected.
