These are amazing. I’m in awe.
Must be kind of difficult to pin up the hem, though.
Heh. I love them all, but could never wear them. All it would take would be one hot flash, and I’d be going after my “dress” with a meat fork.
I’m looking at getting married and was sent an email of the above pictures. I’m dying to have our wedding party done with your balloon fashions. Please have someone contact me on how i can get this done.
Thank you and I really enjoy the art that you have created.
That last picture looks like Queen Amidala’s dress at the end of Star Wars Episode 1. {I’m pretty sure that’s what it’s supposed to be.} ^^;
This was a fabulous event in China! We worked so hard but had such an amazing time! The balloon artist come from the USA, Japan, Canada, and Europe! I am the creator of the yellow and red dress (Round Yellow balloons with the fan) http://www.BalloonDresses.com
It would be terrible if they popped…

Is this only for Asians?
I really thought the long dresses (especially the last, white gown), were awesome. All the pictures were very unique… I believe you would only be able to wear them one time. How do you move or sit down without destroying your outfit?? I can’t imagine how nervous you would be wearing a balloon outfit. You would be worried that at any second you would start popping!

Absolutely beautiful. The last one has to be my favorite.
Wouldn’t you sweat to death if you’re in one of the tighter numbers? And sparkly accessories are pretty much right out, since sparkly = sharp = indecent exposure. Ah well, who needs accessories when you’re already the center of attention?

Great work from all the balloon artists! The face and body painting is excellent also. I love combining the face painting with balloon art and fantasy flowers. Now all we need is a wonderful production like Ziggy Zigfield’s Follies and a beautiful orchestra to finish the composition.
What an experience that would be!

I am one of the artist who made these dresses. Mark Bryne and I used some uninflated balloons in our dress designs. My dress is the black, red, and yellow dress that is has a woven top from uninflated balloons. The bottom is made out of 160 inflated balloons. The top can be worn over and over again. It is even washable.

Hi, I would love to get in contact with any of the balloon artists! I would like to know how do the ballons are shaped so they stay and form the dress? do you have any framing-guides or do you just shape it around the body? How do you put it on? Does it have hooks on or do you just knot it together when you put it on the model?
Can someone please give me some guidance how to make a dress out of ballons?
